Employees will have the power to view, update and add to their profiles beginning January 21, 2003. Over the next few weeks, BWH HR Training Coordinator Jill Evans will be offering introductory sessions to all BWH employees to communicate key information about ESS and to demonstrate the capability of the new system. Employees will be able to conveniently access their personal information using this new, streamlined system. Features include viewing a paycheck, setting up direct deposit, changing W-4 forms, ordering a discounted T pass and more, all with a simple click of the mouse, putting the control in the hands of the employee. Employees will also be able to update personal information including phone numbers, emergency contacts, home and mailing addresses, and marital status to name a few.
PeopleSoft System Automates Keygiving Activities
With the recent implementation of the PeopleSoft System, BWH has been able to automate and improve the keygiving process. These system improvements strengthen network security, maintain employee confidentiality, and streamline the new hire process. As part of the project plan, Information Systems will centralize the creation of user names and passwords for new employees beginning January 13. This change in process will reduce the number of steps it previously took to gain access to the network and will centralize responsibility. Any requests for password changes or other password issues should be directed to the Help Desk at 617-732-5927. Please email all questions regarding the Centralized Keygiving Project to PHS - Keygiving Central
